Jessica Ramirez Trower relocated to Cary, NC from Coral Springs, Florida. She was the youngest graduate from Broward Community College School of Nursing in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, with honors, in 1997 from Florida International University. She completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing/Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Miami with induction to the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Association in 2001. She has 13 years of nursing experience in maternity, newborn, perinatal intensive care, surgical, oncology and HIV/AIDS. Jessica has worked as a midwife in both public and private sectors, providing full-scope obstetrical and gynecological care for the last 7 years. She is fluent in Spanish. She has a great interest in providing holistic patient care to achieve optimal health and well-being, by complimenting Western medicine with alternative therapeutics. Jessica enjoys playing soccer, practicing Kundalini Yoga and spending quality time with her husband and son, exploring North Carolina's natural beauty.

Lucie Neiman joined Triangle OB/GYN in the spring of 2005. She graduated from New York University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She has decades of experience in maternal-child health nursing and childbirth, both at in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. In 1997, she fulfilled a life long dream of becoming a midwife when she earned her degree from the Frontier School of Midwifery. Lucie subsequently worked as a midwife in suburban Washington, D.C. in private practice, at the health department and as a volunteer at the Washington Free Clinic.

Mary Charles Sutphin has been a nurse-midwife for more than thirty years. She joined Triangle OB/GYN in the Fall of 2008 after having practiced midwifery in the Raleigh area for 25 years. Prior to that, she practiced in Beckley, West Virginia where she was one of the first nurse-midwives to be licensed in the state of West Virginia. She earned her Master’s Degree in Maternity Nursing and Midwifery Certificate in 1973 from Columbia University in New York City. Nurse-midwives delivered both of her adult children and Mary Charles delivered both of her grandchildren. Mary Charles says that “midwifery is in my soul” and “it is who I am”. In addition to “birthing babies”, Mary Charles helps to “birth” nursing students as well. She is on the faculty at UNC School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and helps teach maternity nursing at Duke School of Nursing. Mary Charles is a strong advocate for The Hallmarks of Midwifery, especially birth as a normal physiologic process and advocacy of non-intervention.

Heather Zeidler is excited to bring her ten years of experience in obstetrics to Triangle OBGYN. As a top graduate from East Carolina University's Masters in Nurse Midwifery program, Heather provides full-scope midwifery care to low and moderately high-risk women. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, Heather enjoys working in Triangle OBGYN's positive, collaborative and open-minded clinic environment. Originally from Iowa, Heather earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin and has practiced at hospitals in Iowa and Illinois before coming east to North Carolina. Her professional interests include: non-pharmacological therapies, deep-relaxation labor techniques, postpartum depression, and teen pregnancy.
Heather has two children and enjoys North Carolina's coast, the farmer's market and the local parks and recreation.
